This day has been designed to support those schools about to enter their rebuild at the Education Brief phase (wave 5a).

Part 1: Community and Stakeholder Engagement overview

This forum will give you an insight into the range of skills and processes that will support you will your engagement with your community before and during the rebuild. Participants will:

  • Understand scope of community and stakeholder engagement (CaSE) processes in the context of school planning
  • Learn how to design, plan and facilitate authentic engagement with stakeholders of your communities of interest
  • Build collective CaSE capacity in school leadership

Part 2: Writing an Education Brief overview

This forum is designed to support staff writing an education brief. The intention is to clarify the purpose of the education brief and the role of the writer, and to complete an action plan to ensure the timeline is met.

Each section of the brief will be discussed and suggestions on the documentation and process you will need to follow to gather the information. The forum will include an opportunity to review aspects of your schools education brief and to work alongside facilitators.

This session will be interactive and you will require a laptop and your school’s education brief with you preferably in a google document.
