Ko tātou tēnei is a piece of action research that brings voice to a group that is multiply-oppressed and marginalised; rangatahi takatāpui - our Māori LGBTQIA+ youth.
In this rangahau (research), we present pūrākau that shifts thinking from pathology to positive and is authentic as it is created by the youth and accessible to the people who have direct contact and impact on their lives - their whānau and kaiako.
This forum is an opportunity to begin conversations across Waitaha and share ways of working (resources and stories) to better serve the needs of Māori LGBTQIA+ students.
This is a kōrero that is well overdue.
This is an online event and when registered you will be sent the ZOOM link.
