Our third Technology Roadshow will be hosted by the Te Kura Tuatahi o Kaiapoi - Kaiapoi Borough School Technology Centre.
Come along to view the recently built Technology Centre in Kaiapoi; hear centre leader Daniel Gorman share how the team at Kaiapoi provide learning in this modern learning environment.
If you want to further your learning, there will be opportunities for you to get involved in mini workshops on Solid Edge, Gamefroot and Food technology.

Here is an opportunity to gain the basics of Solid Edge, this is a very useful digital tool that enables students use software tools that addresses all aspects of the product development process, 3D design. Bonus: software is free.

Here is your opportunity to get the basics of what Gamefroot is about and how it could be used in your classroom. Gamefroot is an online cloud-based platform for making 2D games. It has visual coding interface and an easy to use level editor. Many uses in your curriculum. Bonus: software is free.
What’s in a flavour? Food Tech. Presenters: Arthur Light / Tania Henderson.
Arthur will investigate how students experience food tech. We will be using this opportunity to look at using flavours to enhance drinks, analyzing labelling and how this knowledge influences good food choice.
