2022 Sustainable Collaboration CoP

Grow Waitaha is excited to launch an initiative focused on supporting collaborative teaching and learning in Waitaha. The purpose of this initiative is to re-invigorate the sector with a focus on the strengths and opportunities of collaboration.

“When we work together, we create a better learning experience. Teacher collaboration positively impacts student achievement, and allows us as educators to explore new territory...

Collaborative learning has been shown to not only develop higher-level thinking skills in students, but boost their confidence and self-esteem as well”.

For our first hui, we would like to invite primary school leaders to be part of the co-design of this initiative moving forward. We know that collaboration is not easy. Join us to critically examine what collaboration is looking like across the sector and be part of designing solutions, imagining futures, and  supporting excellent outcomes for ākonga.

Going forward from the first hui, we are looking to create a community of practice to work together to further strengthen collaborative pedagogy and practice across Waitaha.
