This guide presents themes collated from the analysis of interviews with 13 principals and teachers, and focus groups with 28 Māori and Pasifika primary and secondary school students in Greater Christchurch. These findings were combined with secondary research obtained from relevant studies in this area. It provides recommendations and considerations for creating more culturally responsive learning environments.
