Action the Compassion - event for rangatahi

Seed the Change | He Kākano Hāpai, Mahia Te Aroha and Grow Waitaha are excited to share a free event for year 11–13 rangatahi. 

This event has been designed by rangatahi from Te Kura Tuarua o Horomaka Hillmorton High School and St Andrew's College to Action the Compassion across Waitaha. 

The theme of this first hui is tūrangawaewae | belonging. 

Please join us for:

  • Youth led workshops 
  • Keynote from Kate Dewes, New Zealand peace activist, anti-nuclear campaigner, and academic
  • Panel discussions with questions from the floor
  • Time to connect with other young people

This event is also opportunity for teachers to connect and discuss their role in supporting young people as activators of positive change. 

Dress code: no school uniforms please
